Did you notice the new "Classifieds" button above?

This is a new feature of Telescope Bluebook, but it will take a while to get going, with your help. Ads cost $.50 to place no matter what the cost of the item you're placing. Most attention getting devices are free, but featured and gallery items do cost more. Each new account gets a $10 credit to work from, and you get another $2 credit for each person who reports that you referred them.

For a limited time both credits will be doubled.

Check it out!

Telescopes are our windows to the universe. This site primarily contains information about commercially made telescopes of the last few decades of the 20th century. Using the buttons above (or the related links in the navigation bar), you will find a vast array of information that is hard to find elsewhere. For information on telescope models that are still in production you will find links to manufacturer's web sites under "Links" on the navigation bar.

This site has become a standard reference for used telescope prices. The price lists contain used price information gathered from many sources and includes recently manufactured telescopes as well as the older ones this site is primarily dedicated to.

If you want information on buying, selling and maintaining telescopes you'll find it here too. Browse, enjoy, and thanks for visiting!

Don't forget to send photos of your equipment if you have a commercially made telescope from the 1960's to 1990's. You may be able to see your telescope along with your first initial and last name on Telescope Bluebook! I especially appreciate photos of older or uncommonly manufactured telescopes.

Clicking on either award icon at the left will take you to the sites where the awards originated.

New to the site? You'll find some general information here.
